About Us
Our Story
Learning Minnesota’s resource Library was founded by Minnesota educators for Minnesota educators and those they serve. Whether seeking LearningMN out as a consumer or creator, the goal of Learning Minnesota is to build a network of learners who are empowered to become leaders in their own right, to become a bridge for education and the resources and services available, and to provide professional learning opportunities to all educators that offer choice, support, meaning, inspiration, and connection.
The Team
Stefanie Rothstein Mindi Jenson Steve Stromme
Stef has 15 years of teaching experience in the elementary classroom and the college level, and served as an instructional coach and facilitator of district curriculum and instruction. She currently is an S.E.L. Coordinator and adjunct professor, co-owns a local business and co-founded a non-profit organization.
Mindi has 25 years of educational experience in the classroom, as an instructional coach, director of teaching and learning, and at the college level supervising teaching candidates. She has presented at both local and national events on teacher induction programming and is currently serving as a literacy coach part time, co-owns a local business and co-founded a non-profit organization.
Steve has 40 years of teaching experience at both the high school and college level. He has also served as a district staff development coordinator, district curriculum coordinator, district teacher trainer, and district director of communications. Steve currently serves as a university supervisor for developing teachers.
